HOMICIDE:Life On The Street Biography -

KYLE SECOR as Tim Bayliss

In the Emmy Award-winning, hour-long NBC drama, "Homicide:Life on the Street", Kyle Secor plays Tim Bayliss, an affable detective whose bewilderment at human behavior and ruminative nature combine to make an excellent investigator. "Tim is the kind of man who likes to ponder the human condition -- one minute he's paying for an exotic massage and the next he's loooking into a nun's murder"

Born in Tacoma, Washington and raised in Federal Way, Washington, Secor began acting in grade school plays. Immediately after high school graduation, he moved to California, where steady theatre work led to a year-long stint on the daytime drama "Santa Barbara".

Movie fans will recognize Secor for his major roles in such feature films as "Sleeping With The Enemy," "City Slickers", "The Doctor," "Heart of Dixie," and as the menacing Howard in Tony Bill's "Untamed Heart"

On television, Secor has been seen in the movies, "Midnight Runaround," "Standoff at Marion," "Inherit The Wind," and, most recently, in the NBC thriller "Beauty's Revenge" with Courtney Thorne-Smith and Tracey Gold. His episodic work includes roles in the award-winning "St. Elsewhere," "Middle Ages," "Tales From the Crypt" and "Eerie, Indiana".

Secor's stage credits include "Day of Hope", "Anthony and Cleopatra," "The Lion in Winter," "A Comedy of Errors," "Charley's Aunt," "Equus" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"

Secor lives in Los Angeles when "Homicide" is not in production.

"Homicide: Life on the Street" is produced by Baltimore Pictures in association with NBC Productions, Inc.
